You're screwed now.......cover the rest of your pipes with more microfiber rags, fire it up and wait 20 minutes.

Then tell everybody the pipes are wrapped.

I don't wash my bike everytime it gets some dirt on it, let alone wipe it during or after a ride. Everytime you wipe it, even with a microfiber cloth, you're still gonna get swirls and fine scratches. I'll hose it down after it cool a bit, but that's about it.

get a good commercial sandblaster. be sure and be careful and wear the hood for safety.. point it at the bike and have at it. it'll take those melted rags off there in no time.

gogone or anything like that will also work,, just not as fast.

What can I say ....

I know it's a rookie mistake! I am still in the phase of drooling at it in my garage. Still can't grasp that I finally own one. I'm sure once the newness wears off in a a few years I will be able to not want to polish it every time I see dust or dirt!!!
