Hi. I'm new here. I was hoping someone could help me figure out what the value of my bike is. It is a customized 92 FXR that belonged to my daughter's father. He died in 2002 and the bike has been sitting in our garage since then. I am thinking of selling it but have no idea what to ask. Anyone know where I can get it's value?
Thank you for reading this and any help in would be appreciated.
I'm in Northern California. Odometer says 27K. But its either a 96 or 103 S&S engine, which obviously is not original so I don't know how to tell the miles on it.
It is done up, although I don't care for those sputnik aftermarket fenders. FXR's in general are going for a low of $4500ish to a high of $9Kish, not much more for the best ones.
Accessories never did bring much return, but especially so in this economy.
If you need quick cash put it on fleebay for a starting bid of $5500. You'll probably get it or maybe $6.5-$7. If you list it firm, like craigslist, maybe ask $7.5 OBO for a week. It is a very nice bike, but again, in this economy, especially without the OEM motor, if you get a better offer I'd be surprised.
