I'm sure some have posted before, but thought I'd add my own photos...
My wife and I left Cumming, GA Friday night and went to Asheville, NC to see the Biltmore yesterday. On our way home today, we went through Maggie Valley and had to stop to see the museum...
Well over 100 pictures and each of them are amazing...
Thanks for sharing that big daddy. I could easily spend some time there. Still gettin over that gold and black Knuckle about 6 pics in. That's a lot of fine stuff under one roof.
I think I'll go back and bookmark it for early morning browsing with coffee........
OK on # 58 I'm havin trouble with the red and green buttons above the saddle bags. I may have shown my ignorance on another thread where these were pictured. Were these an HD item? Man, I just would not believe these came from the moco............but then I have been wrong at least once before.......
Nice pictures. I made a small web page of some of the bikes when we were there. It's a great place to visit and see the history of the motorcycle. Here is the link to the page I made. http://webpages.charter.net/roberts1...rough_Time.htm
They look like the reflector/tag bolt you get when you leave the dealer with a bike.
It is a great place went the back in the fall of last year. The owner took my sons around the place and let him sit on several bikes. Then signed a ball cap to him and gave it to him. Super nice guy and a great place no dout.

They're just bolts with reflectors, that's all. I use them for my license plate bolts.
I was at the museum about 4-5 years ago. My wife and I were living in Florida at the time and decided to go to NC to avoid another Hurricane that was headed our way. Not only is the museum sensory over-load...almost every single one of those machines will start/run/ride! Unless you've been there, you can't imagine how amazing that is...there are HUNDREDS of bikes, most unrestored! It was a slow day when I was there, and the owner, Dale Walkser, actually gave me an impromtou tour. The dude likes to talk, which was okay with me. He even started a few. Their slogan is something like "The museum that runs".
On that trip we went to the Biltmore Estate as well. Very interesting and I enjoyed it, but Wheels Through Time blew me away.
