I have a vest just like the one the folks are wearing in the pic. It is a testament to our job in the Marine Corps, not a MC. We are a true brotherhood, but we are NOT a MC.
I was told I was okay in our "local" area, but some MCs in other locations may have a problem with it since it looks like a three piece. Going to be doing some cross country riding solo and wondering if I have the ***** to wear it riding solo?
Ready for flames, encourgement and other words of advice. haha
I see what you mean about the how it looks. I sure hope that you can drive from one side of this country to the other without being hassled since you gave a good part of your life in service to this country. Surely any club would recognize and respect your service. I hope things are not that bad in this country.
Seeing as how there is not a "MC" cube on it anywhere, I don't see how it should be a problem. I also think that anyone that want's to get in your face about it would be doing so at their own peril.
There was a story in my town a few years back where a few guys with USMC cuts on stopped in a bar. The bar had a "no colors" policy. The bikers explained that they were not an MC and they were not club colors. No go. The owner of the bar said that if he let them wear their cuts, he'd hafta let the Pagans wear theirs and he couldn't take any chances.
sure is sad that you even have to wonder if it is okay to wear your vest........I would like to think that you would not have any trouble. I agree that anyone who hassels you would be doing so at the their own peril.
