If she sat for 8yrs, She needs to be taken to a INDY or Dealer and have them go over her and do a complete service,, the tires should be changed out, wheel bearings packed and spokes checked, then all the oils changed, cables and all points that need oiled and greased done.
If gas was left in her for 8yrs, its probably gel by now. Fuel system Needs throughly cleaned out and new filter in tank.
Brakes need flushed and front forks should have the oil changed
After that, U should have a great and safe bike to ride..
yep - my suggestion too. why keep throwing money at it in hopes of finding what's not working ... let an expert have at it.
