Do whatever you like. My point is that someone who is interested in heated gear but knows little about it might be misled by the poll results. As you indicated, you vote for what you own and its pretty obvious the number of owners of wired gear far exceed the number that own hybrids. Therefore, the poll question, "what do you like" will be way higher for the wired gear.
Also, the hybrids have thermostats built into the rechargeable battery, with 3 settings. On the lowest setting, which is often all you need, you get 5+ hours of riding time. If you should run out, then you can plug into the bikes battery.
I have both setups and since getting the hybrids, I haven't used the wired.
Being able to plug in after the battery is depleted would make these my choice then. You could use them any where, not just riding.
