Fluid Disposal?

How should I dispose of the bikes old fluids? Oil is a no brainer, but primary? Trans? Brake (DOT5)? Fork? Can I mix? I live in an apartment now so I cannot just store them in jars for decades like I did when I had a big house and garage. Should the local dealer take them?

Call your local auto parts store and see if they want them mixed or separated...

I think you can mix the oils,they just dont like to see water mixed in.
Some of the bigger chain autoparts stores accept oil with no charge.

Auto parts store. Yes, you can mix them. They have one container in the back that all types of fluid is poured into it, so yes, you can mix them.

Right on the large auto parts chain taking them. Think they actually get paid for them. Also, look in yellow/gov pages in phone book for recycle centers.

My local convenience center (trash collection site...lol) has a drum set up for oils and you can put in all oils. And the local parts places Autozone, OReilly's, Napa and Advance all take used oils.
