I have done some research and I am looking for the smallest DOT half helmet available. From what I have found, the Daytona carbon fiber Skull Cap and the Outlaw AX-30030 carbon fiber, seem to be the smallest and lightest helmets. Does that seem right to you or are there others I am missing? Any experience with these helmets?
Thanks for your help

IMO it used to be the ACC carbon fiber helmets but they dont make DOTs anymore. I also have a HCI 1/2 and its pretty small, DOT and only cost about $ 60.00
I really wanted an ACC. They not only had to stop selling their DOT helmet but they had to fully reimburse everyone that had bought one. In other words, I don't think the DOT's were really DOT.
Daytona makes the claim at smallest and I own the carbon fiber. Daytona makes the same model without carbon fiber for much less. Carbon fiber makes it weigh less and cost more.
you are going to get as many different opinions to this question as there are responses to your post.
I tried the Daytona 1/2 helmet and didn't like it at all. It would not stay on my head at speed. I ended up with a Skid Lid which is smaller and fits my head better but YMMV.
