wow what a difference
well fellas i bought a new softail fatboy 2009 with 5000miles stage 2 ,before this bike i have riden a 1993 fxdwg wiith 16inch apes for over 13 years and only rode that bike no others.took the new bike out today after its been delivered more than 2 months ago,and i should have bought another dyna.they are much smother by far. i liked the rubber mounted motor.only thing this fat boy is better is thats its alot faster thats it.i should have bought the street bob i was looking at too.the 2011 flat black street bob.bummin in michigan......... dam

no i didnt take any others for a ride cuz i bought it in jan here in mich.bored one day and stopped at dealer to look around, we had 2 ft of snow. so no test rides there .i like the ride of my old 93 wide glide much smoother i guess thats why there glides.but dont get me wrong i love the look and power of the new fat boy alot.i will learn to love it thou .

I test rode a number of Softail models and I didn't like that uncomfortable high frequency Buzzy feeling you get from the counter balanced softails at highway speed. Feels like an old poorly balanced Shovel. The rubber mounts are much more comfortable to me. Most of our roads are intended for 50+ miles an hour so the rubber mounts suit these roads better IMHO.
