Interesting, I have always loved the Ft Lewis boots, the first pair I had lasted 15+ years and could have been resoled had one not gone missing at work. I also have the shorter ankle height version (blackhawk) I found them to be a little drafty when riding. I figured it was just because they are short and recently got a set of 200gr FTL boots. WHile they are better and warmer - they still does seem to be a bit of a draft finding its way in. Do you have the 600gr?
