Just throw it anywhere, like on the workbench, saw table, dinning room table, on the floor in the office upstairs, in the closet and about 9 other places that I manage to forget were I put the ****.

I keep my jackets in the house and everything else in a cabinet in the garage that is just for bike stuff. Works out well.

Everything stays in the garage; coathooks for the outerwear, helmets get hung in their helmet bags, boots near the door, shelves for everything else. That way I can sneak out for a ride without drawing my wife's attention.

Jacket tossed over the backrest, or hung on a hook inside the door.
Gloves inside the helmet or stuffed into the tree.
Helmet either on the backrest, or on the cool hanger I made

I'm not really sure where they're stored. My wife brings me my jacket, gloves and helmet as I'm rolling out the bike and doing a pre-trip. She even puts a little mad-money and a couple of my favorite cigars in the inside pocket for "emergencies".

When I roll up, she's waiting at the door with either a cold beer or a glass of sweet tea. She takes my gear, cleans it all up and stows it away.

That being said, anything mama wants, mama gets.

Keep helmet on the bike. Gloves, chaps in the saddlebag. Coat either in closet or hanging off the handlebar.

Doesn't the sound of Harley Pipes in the garage catch her attention? I'd have to duck-walk my bike out the garage..down the driveway..and down the road about a 1/4 mile in either direction til I'm out of site if I wanted to sneak out for a ride. Cuz if I fire mine up in the garage..the whole house shakes 'n rumbles..and I don't have loud pipes.

...now if I had Schu's Victory...yeah I could sneak out without her hearing me. :P j/k
