Default Insturment code

I just bought a 2010 Heritage Softail classic with 2496 miles. New to me but I bought it used. On the instrument panel, as I click through the time, trip A, Trip B, then there is a "r low". What does the "r low" mean???

r = reserve (fuel)

lo= you are really low.

That fourth positon on you trip gauge will show how many miles (just an estimate) that you have left in fuel to travel that many miles. When you get real low it drops the mileage numbers and just says "Lo".

Also, when you get down to around 30 miles to go to empty, the yellow/orange idiot light will come on and the tripmeter will change to the fourth position automatically.

Good luck,
