I found a product called All-Kleer at an air show a few years ago and have been using it ever since. It does a great job cleaning the windshield and nothing sticks to it. I've hit some pretty disgusting bugs on my rides but they rinse right off.

Been using Griots Garage products for years,Plastic cleaner and Plastic Polish.Both windshields still look brand new,neither has any scratches.

Just used Lemon Pledge on my bike yesterday, it works great!! Haven't tried it on the windshield yet since I never use it, but glad to know the lemon pledge will work on that too

For bugs I have just been draping a wet towel over the windshield for 30 minutes. Keep it wet by spraying if needed. When I remove the towel the hardened bugs have been turned into jell and most life off with the towel. The rest will be to soft to scratch the windshield when you wipe them off.
