When washing bike. hot water from tap, large towel, hold onto corners of the towel, dip towel in bucket of hot water, then place across windshield and fairing, let sit for 30 seconds wipe and is clean. When not washing I use Honda spray polish. Have been doing this for 25 years.

 

Soapy hot water is great and cheap...
