LED Inline Resistor Heat - How much?
I'm installing a set of these LED bar lights in place of my relocated stock FXDC front signals (keeping the rear as if - for now anyway) and have a pair of these inline resistors. Installing them is simple enough but not having any experience with LED's or using resistors I was reading the instructions for some of the Kuryakan load equalizers and it warns of the heat given off, don't use the 4 ways, danger of fire etc........so what is the poop with these things - do they really give off much heat or are the warnings just CYA on their part? I would like to put them inside the backbone with the rest of the wires.

I added LED taillights to the rear of my 2000 FB and I had to install a 5 ohm 5 watt resistor. When the turn signals are on, the resistors get warm to the touch, but nothing that would melt anything or start a fire. Those resistors in your pic look even bigger, so I wouldn't worry about the heat. Hook them up and hold them in your hand if you still have reservations.
