Default New signsl lights not blinking

I just put a set of strut lights (only on 1 side so far) on my bike for the signals , they wont blink they just stay on when the signal is on . Any one have any ideas of what needs to be done to get them to blink. The stock signals will work fine(put them back on) but the strut ones will not blink ,just stays on when the signal is turned on. Need some help. Does it have anything to do bulb wattage.

You may need a load equalizer , look up badlands , they may be marker lights.

What and Where did you hook them up to? Did you remove old lights that were running and blinker lights, and hook them up to the running light wires?

The system needs a prescribed amount of resistance (load) to flash at the correct rate (or at all) - this is how the system warns you that a bulb is out.........if you burn one out then the signal stays on to let you know you need to replace it. Regardless of whether the marker is LED or now - it doesn't have suffience resistance (load) as the wattage rating of the bulb is too low. The load equalizer is just a resistor to simulate the higher wattage of the OEM bulbs but beware that since the markers are not LED the LE may be too high of a resistance but most marker lights are also available in LED dirt cheap anywhere that sells truck supplies.

They are a set of pro1 strut maker lights with wedge bulbs (2 bulbs per light). Will a Kyraykan 4 amp load equalizer work ok ??

Hook both sides up, if one side is not hooked up the system might not work.

The 4 amp LE should be just fine for Pro-One lights
