I am thinking about adding the Cyclevisions Illumabezel to my RG which has the built in turn signals. I'd like to remove the stock turn signals and add a set of running lights that are small in size; yet powerful and mount them to the existing turn signal brackets.
Two questions:
1) What do I need to do so that the lights I add are indeed running lights and won't function as a turn signal?
2) Any suggestions on lights? Kind of thinking about Kury Silver Bullets.
In order to function just as running lights, you must choose the proper wire that now goes into your front directional lights.
There are three wires in there, one ground, one running light and one directional.
I believe the one you are looking for is the blue wire, but check it out before splicing with a test lamp.
