driving lights running lights

driving lights running lights
Hey all was just wondering if anyone has ever swap the driving lights to the turn signal/running lights . I think if their positions were switched it would light up the road better and others could see the turn signals better. I'm thinking about maybe doing this to my 10 Ultra. If anyone has done it what was involved?

Turn signals/running lights may have to be amber-I'm not sure. Maybe if you used amber passing lights? There also may be a requirement as to how bright the turn signals/running lights can be. Again-I'm not sure. Also you may have to rewire or reconfigure your electrical system as the passing lights draw a lot more current than the turn signal/running lights.
