PULLED the TRIGGER!!
1. A two weeker to Colorado and back. We love the San Juans. We want to experience them on a bike.
2. A two or three weeker to New England near the autumn time.
3. A trip to the Black Hills of SD. I've experienced them aboard a bike (one of the solo trips mentioned above), my wife hasn't. I want her to see what I saw and experience similar things that I experienced.
+1, being able to do this with the better half enjoying the ride makes it even more fun. I have been riding the past few years alone and just last year my babe got on the back. We are having a great time.

Oct1949: Must be nice to be as rich and powerful as you make yourself sound. Your awesomeness much be impressive, I'm sure. However, for some reason, that sounded so "RUB" that it is uncanny.
I readily admit: I'm blue collar and simply doing the best I can. We're just glad to have what we have.
We need a wizard from the "wizard of oz" movie smilie. Reading the few comments we see negative on a thread like this reminds me of the little man behind the curtain. The Great and Powerful OZ!
I see it as a good thing.
Hmmm.
Guess I need to remember that the good ol' TSC* is ALWAYS alive and well at this forum.

My quote to live by, "There isn't $hit on the face of this planet that I could charge or finance that would make me feel better than being debt free!" Using credit is like smoking cigarettes to me. It used to be cool until I was taught a better way. Some people still choose to do it regardless. They drive themselves into a wall financially then when they're older they wonder why their finances are a wreck. This is why the classifieds are full of slightly used bikes, modded to the gills with a guy selling and taking a huge loss with all the sorry excuses when one thing would've prevented it.
Hmmm...isn't it strange how on my income there are people on WIC, reduced lunches at school, etc...yet I can afford all I have and have 3 children? I'm not rich so I'm not bashing on people who have less than me. I have pride in knowing how to do simple math and understanding how to live within my means. This all translates into me having more for my money because my income isn't tied up in paying back banks for providing the smoke and mirrors to make my friends think I'm prosperous when I'm not.
