gas tank identification????????
Trying to find out who makes the tank on my bike, 92 fxr with a fatbob style one piece tank, but has a dummy cap on left side that hides the fuel sending unit, cap contains the gauge. If anyone knows who sells this tank please help!!!

Sounds like a quick bob tank. JP Cycle carries them but you might have to fab the lower mount. Search the evo forum, I know a few threads were about switching to bigger tanks and some of those guys knew a hell of a lot about fxr tanks.

Thanks, I may have figured it out, the fxrs tanks had the fuel gauge mounted on the left side, apparently a very hard tank to find, a couple on eBay full of rust for 500 bucks and up.....
