Default Seat QUestion

I have a Mustang seat on my bike with a driver backrest. The seat and backrest where on the bike when I bought it so I'm not sure what model the seat and backrest are so I thought I would ask here for some help. I know that the seat is Mustang but I am not sure about the backrest. I am just guessing that it is a Harley backrest. What I am trying to figure out is if I can buy a Mustang solo seat and still be able to use the backrest setup that I have? Or if someone has any other suggestions on being able to use my current backrest with a solo seat that would be appreciated. Here are a couple of pics of what I have.

Thanks
Phil

appears to be a Harley non-adjustable backrest.

I have the same. the backrest is not mustang. probably sundowner. if you go mustang solo, you will need to remove the bronze box that the spring tensioned tang slips into. I also considered a solo but went with the mustang seat, as i wished to keep the backrest. I also have the sundowner seat (to hard) and the original harley seat (waaaaY to hard)

OK thanks. I had always just assumed that it was a Mustang backrest until I starting doing some searching for a seat. I noticed on the Mustang site that their backrests looked different but then just thought that mine was an older model. After talking to someone at Mustang yesterday who sounded very confused about what I was asking I started doing some looking and realized that the backrest was probably Harley. The lady I talked to said that they could make a custom solo seat to fit, but I do not think she realized I had the Harley backrest. I may try to call them back now that I know that it is Harley and see what they say...

Thanks for the help
Phil
