If you need a charger as well, I would look at the Schumacher charger/maintainers. They will not only charge, but maintain it as well which is pretty much what a battery tender does.
I use 15 $20 Schumacher 1.5 amp tenders on my cars, trucks, motorcycles and spare batteries. They will charge the biggest batteries out there. They keep my trolling motor battery up to snuff.
Remember that the slower that a lead acid battery is charged the better it is for it.
Plus, if you use the tenders as they are meant to be used, leave it on 24/7. It only takes a few seconds to disconnect and and reconnect when returning to the garage. I have a motorcycle battery from 01 that is still up to snuff.
Have two. Bell from Walmart and Harley's . Like the Harley better because it's light tell you more of whats going on. Both are very low 750 mil amp charger/monitors made in China. Remember the gel type batteries say not to use most 6/12 amp large car battery chargers but the newer one are probably OK. My newest one will only show show voltage when hooked to a battery and I assume it is monitoring to an off state. However I would not put that on the small battery. Also never jump start through the tender cables.
