I had them on my '08 Road King. They sounded good and the bike ran OK.
I put a set of Bub 7 on my '09 Heritage Classic and they sounded like crap. I sold
them on Ebay and bought a set of Rush Slip-ons with a 2 inch baffle. Man,
do these slip-ons sound good!!!

I recently bought a set of BUB Straight 8 slip ons for my Limited. The quality of these mufflers is top notch. They are very deep sounding but not loud. Keep in mind that my Bike is a 2011 and I still have the cat in the headpipe.
I'm guessing that once they're on the Bike for a while that they will get a little louder. If they do they will be absolutely perfect for me.
I bought the chiseled tips and they are very cool. I haven't seen anyone else with this style of tips so my exhaust is a little different form everyone else's.... which I like.
Based on my experience so far... which is limited at this point.... I would highly recommend.
This is why I love this forum. I would have no idea how these mufflers would sound without member input. I know exhaust sound it subjective but based on the positive replies I think I'll give 'em a try. I'm looking for a different look & good sound, just may be the ticket.
I have BUB 7s on mine and really like the sound. They aren't loud pipes which keeps the wife (passenger) happy.....lol.....I wish they were a little louder. They have been on for 10k miles and still look great. However, I did see some threads on here with folks complaining of flaking chrome tips. I haven't seen it but thought I would give a little bad with the good
