I was never really crazy about the idea of buying tires online, you still have to have it mounted and balanced. Do you really save that much after ther shipping cost etc?
I don't know about the store but over the years I've had several bad brand new tires either lop sided or out of round as he put or that were completely unbalance-able for whatever reason all of them top name brands so yes it can happen .
Good News . i called Dunlop they are making good on the tire and the shop I use and Dunlop are working on the cost of mounting and balancing. Great service from both. but MC super store can kiss off. I WILL never order anything from them again. All thay had to do was talk to my shop get the tech word and the deal was done.
I bought a Dunlop, tube & wheel liner from them. The tire was fine, the tube & liner were both the wrong size. I contacted them for either a refund or replacement on both of the wrong items. I got the run around so ate it on both items. I will NEVER buy from them again. I am one that thinks **** can happen but getting it taken care of after the sale is whats important. JMHO.
I just bought a pair of ZR1 riding gloves on Friday. They came UPS yesterday. Nice gloves , no problem.
I think you better ride em round the block a time to two just to make sure they aren't out of round.
I'm going with Cycle gear, as their pricing is online with the online sales. It's carry in, but not only do they mount and balance, but offer a road hazard policy.
The most important question to them was in regards to me having to accept an older dated tire which I have already paid for. They said I have the option to deny a tire, and they would credit my card or try again. This question was composed from lessons learned from this forum, on another recent thread. And the fact that the front tire on my scoot was cracking from age when I purchased the bike used.
I have bought 3 tires from them on two differant occasions....
No problem yet....
And to answer that one guy, no shipping and it was only $50 per tire for Mounting and balanceing on my bike....
