Had the HD helmet lock too, but removed when I got the hard lower fairings. Now I use a small cable lock (meant for guns) which works great...gets old lugging helmet around everywhere.

Depending on where I was, I would either carry mine with me, or, I had a cable lock in my bags so I could lock helmets and jackets onto the bike.

Put it in my tour pack, but I like the idea of the aftmkt helmet lock.

On top of the mirror and fasten the strap so it don't fall off.

+1. It's a basic 1/2 with a DOT sticker on it. If some assbandit wants the damn thing he can have it. Oddly enough I've never had one stolen.

Put mine in my saddlebags if I am gone for long and can't see the bike. If I am just running in or nearby I sit it on the mirror.

Hang my helmet on the brake pedal and carry goggles incase its gone when I get back.
