Anybody go on the spring Flood Run? Woke yesterday to 4 inches of sloppy snow and said no way. Just wondering if anybody went. I'm sure the businesses suffered with the lack of bikes.
Yep, i went riding. I also own a bar that is a official stop on the run.
We had maybe 5% of the bikers we normally do for a Flood Run.
At least i will not have to place a liquor order for awhile.
What found extremely funny was, all I read on these forums are people complaining about "Posers", "RUBS" etc. etc. and how hardcore they are. And yet nobody was out riding for a fantastic charity.
Roads were fine by noon, 45 degrees by 3pm, except for that nasty *** wind at a constant 35 mph.
I did my part and suffered through it, dressed as I was going on a arctic expedition, but at least I made it.

That's why I don't have any of those "Ride To Live..." emblems. I'm no poser, but I opt out with snow, driving hail, ice, 40 mph winds...
