it nothing but farm country between SR 13 and St Augustine on CO Rd 214. There is one little shop and just learned yesterday, the last saturday of every month they have a big party out there with a live band and all. Actually planned on going this month since I heard about it. This month it will be April 30th...which will be my birthday weekend. But since this accident, we'll have to see if that pans out or not. If not, theres always the last saturday of may.

I gotta make a note of that. Places off the beaten path are usually the most fun. Maybe you can drive or catch a ride. Getting out might help ya heal a little sooner.
Well the registered owner of the car (his wife) has insurance...unsure about what kind of coverage at this point. I'm letting the lawyer I called take care of that. The lawyer had a field investigator out within 30 minutes to come talk to me.
Done riding??? Not a chance. As soon as lawyer / insurance clears everything up, I'll be right back in the saddle...lol.
From a vet to a vet....thanks for your service, Devil Dog.
Look at this positively, now you can get a "FL"...a bagger. Evo Road Kings in decent shape can be had for about 7K. I was able to score such a good interest rate, I went ahead and traded in for my new bagger. These "FL's" are the absolute best.
This is one reason why I believe we should do away with our present insurance laws in most states. Everyone should be responsible only for their own insurance. You buy insurance and it covers you no matter who or what caused the accident. The other guy is responsible for his own costs.
Always sad to hear about stuff like this. Although it sucks big time, look at the glass half full.... could have been a lot worse! Speedy recovery and we want pics when that guy is hanging from his *****!
