Glad you made it through. If you have collison insurance you're all set I would think. You're probably not going to get anything out of him because he's going to jail. At least you're in one piece!
Glad you are ok....I had a drunk hit me years ago. If you are looking for a replacement Sportster, my dealer has a really clean red 2008 1200C with under 6000 miles sitting on his showroom floor. PM me and I'll hook you up.
well it may be a bit before i can ride again. went to doc today and they did x-rays. One of the bones that is fractured on my left foot is not lined up properly, so they are talking possible surgery and putting in a pin...effing great!!
Sorry about the accident (really you were assaulted), but glad it's not worse. At least you had the satisfaction of seeing the phucking a-hole arrested!

yeah i was really lucky. a 16-17 year old girl somehow memorized the license plate and came forward. after tow truck took bike away, cops put me in one car and another came with and we went to the address. car was in the driveway and driver was in the house. i was able to identify both.

That is not as bad as it sounds. Will keep you off a scoot for a while BUT it is the right way to fix it so you don't limp. Do yourself a favor and don't fubar the fix on that injury by trying to jump back in to your old routine too quickly.

Always hate to hear about someone getting hit but glad to hear it wasn't any worse. Lawyer is the only way to go, I was hit last fall and lawyer has handled everything. You don't need the frustrations of dealing with insurance companies, you need to focus on getting better and back on the road. Good luck
