Just wondering what kinda jackets you guys have.....Im looking for a good one you know nice thick leather, something thats gonna help out alot if I go down. I want somewhat of an old school look but Im not in to big logos or patchs all over the thing. Any suggestions would be great.
Sounds like you are looking for the "Classic Motorcycle Jacket". Lots of copies of that one. From http://www.chilhowee.net/motorcycle-jackets/MLJ001.html to the Double Diamond: http://www.classicjackets.com/doublediamond.html
Good Luck!
Good Luck!
I have a few, a thick leather Harley jacket, with the foam armor in the shoulders and elbows (and removable insert for colder weather), and a Gericke textile jacket with full armor in the arms, back and shoulders. The Gericke also has vents I can open and close, which is nice since it gets well in excess of 110 here during the summer!
Check out Fox Creek Leather. They have great customer service, have some of the best products that I've ever seen and have a good selection to choose from. www.foxcreekleather.com

I have a few also.
I have a Harley Switchback Jacket which is fairly convertible and has armor in it, but might not be enough for really cold temps. I wear this one to ride to work in heavy traffic most of the time.
I have a Wilsons Leather Motorcycle Jacket. I actually love it. It has vents and a thick inner liner (was not super expensive)
I also ride with a really thin harley jacket (that's the one in my sig) no protection except that it is long sleeve, but very comfortable in mild weather (upper 60's/ lower 70's).
Hubby has the FXRG (non-leather) he really likes it and even uses the inner liner as a light jacket while riding or when he gets off the bike and doesn't want the heavier outer shell.

Actually I got her the thicker orange and white leather Harley jacket, it looks pretty sexy too!
I have the HD "rogue jacket" (go figure right?) My wife bought it for me for christmas.
It has removeable padding and has dual front zippers in case you want to layer underneath it(or if you just get fat
