H-D Hi Vis is good stuff. Rode in many a rainy day with it last season and stayed dry every time.

The set of ABU pattern I have let water pool at the crotch on the bike, and then it soaks though. Not the best for riding in the rain.

Any Harley rain gear. I have the Overpass and it is outstanding for keeping me dry in real gully washers, it does not flap in the wind and does not melt or burn on pipes. Highly recommend it. I paid $150 a few years ago for pants and jacket. May be higher now.
+1 -- if the leg gets a melt-thru, they're relatively cheap to replace. Local Cabela's has Toggs on sale right now for $25 (reg $60), so I'm gonna get a new set(!)
