Help!!!!
I own a 2007 Sportster XLC with 2600 miles on it. Runs great on top end but in low end it hesitates, spits, and spudders until I get the rpm's up. I bought this bike with slip ons the exhaust. The bike sat for 3 years with no oil or gas change. I've drained and changed the oil and emptied the gas tank and put in 93 octane. Could you give me any suggestions?

Change your plugs see if that helps. If the bike is carbed, I said IF, don't forget to push in the enrichment ****. Another thing could be the cylinder head temp sensor has failed and not allowing the cold circuit to allow the electronic fuel air mix adjust for a cold engine.
Hi, just so you understand WHY your sportster is running the way it is is most likely you are lugging it in too high of a gear for the speed you are traveling in the low ranges. Sportsters are meant to have a LOT of RPM's to them at all times, they are a high rev style engine and if you're under 3000 RPMs riding around town and in 3rd gear, YOU ARE WRONG!
It is designed to be ridden hard, not babied, it's a Sportster, it can take it I promise you that!:-)
