Default 29 Degrees & Sleet!

That's what the weather was like when I left the house on my Street Bob for the last ride of the season. I rode to my dealer to have the next 5K service done & back home, added some Stabil to the gas tank & went for another 10-15 miles, 135+ for the day. Even though it was cold & the sleet hurt a little, I still enjoyed the ride. (my last ride on with Bob this year) The next decent day that I don't have to work Bob will get washed, waxed & put away for the winter. I sure do hate to see the riding season end![sm=boohoo.gif]

So sorry to hear that. I am lucky to live where riding season doesn't end. Kinda like the endless summer. LOL.

We get that cold and colder, but luckily we don't get much sleet in the desert. I'll ride all winter, with a few snowy exceptions here and there.

The cold wouldn't stop me, but we could have salt on the roads any day soon if it decides to snow. When that happens my bikes are parked until after the first good rain in the spring that washes the salt off. I'll probably still get in some riding on one of my older bikes until that first salting.

Snow is melting FAST here in the Mile High...streets are dry already and they're calling for mid-60's today w/ a breeze. That's usually the way it works here in Colo. with the snow it comes down good then goes away in a day or two. I'll be riding!
