Leatherup sucks! Ordered chaps...didnt fit right. Returned them...didnt have a tracking number...still waiting for my $$$. They have my money AND their chaps back! Never do business with them again!
I have ordered from them multiple times, jackets, helmets, chaps, riding goggles, etc. The prices were good, the products were as advertised, they arrived quickly, and everything fit. It advises you on the site to order clothing at least two sizes larger than normal. I have nothing bad to say about them, I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
I have to add my name to the list of people who have ordered from them several times and never had a bad experience. I do have empathy for the original poster, though.
I heard lots of mixed reviews about leatherup.com. They range from a big value for the money, to, cheaply made , to, great customer service, to, I shoulda spent the extra bucks and bought the name brand. I have no leatherup.com personal experience but I have personally come to the conclusion that you usually get what you pay for. ESPECIALLY IN THE MOTORCYCLE BUSINESS!
Bikes & bikers live in a "tough" environment. I enjoy a "bargain" as much as the next guy but as the saying goes -
Penny wise - Dollar foolish!

I hear ya, Jeffrey... $30 isn't a terrible price to pay for a lesson, though I am not quite sure what I could have done differently, except make sure that my credit card address was updated.
The Bank admitted that someone at the branch had forgotten to change the address for the credit card when I changed my home address and ordered new checks. Maybe I should hit THEM up for the $$! haha I won't hold my breath...
I just want to give folks here a heads up on one possible outcome, not throw leatherup.com under the bus. Hell, I heard about them from this site and was looking fwd to that helmet!
I think the upshot here might be that this is a volume company and if things go well you are golden but if you are unlucky then it might be a bit painful to deal with their customer service team.

I've ordered a few things from them with great success. If you read the reviews on almost every jacket most people say to order a size larger than you normally wear. I did this and my leather jacket fits perfect.
