My advice to the OP is to file a claim with your cc company. They will take a look at your emails and if what you say is correct will refund your money and withdraw the funds from leatherup's cc account.
Sorry about your bad experience. I've ordered a leather jacket, two vests, boots, helmets and many other items and never had a problem. Had to send jacket and boots back for a different size and it went smoothly. I usually wear a 2X jacket had to get a 4X. Here's a code that will save you 10% on your order. 55633
I bought a t-shirt from these guys via the internet once after they had closed for the day. I changed my mind and sent a cancellation email 20 minutes later. I contacted them as soon as they opened the next day to make sure the order was canceled. They said I couldn't cancel an order that shipped. I asked how could an order ship while they were closed. They said that's how it is. I said I will never order anything from them again and they didn't care. I returned the shirt when it arrived.
These guys are the worst!!! They lost my business for whatever profit they made on the shipping for a T-shirt. Bunch of idiots.

Well, after two days it is still in "pending" status... I emailed them and got a form response 2 days later that the fraud dept had flagged the transaction because my shipping address didn't match my billing address (I just moved...)
So, I immediately called the CC company and fix that, then send an email to leatherup.com telling them it's all set. No response, so the next day I called them. Ring no answer. Tried again. Terminal hold, then a disconnect after 15 minutes holding.
I sent another email requesting update. No response.. Now it has been almost a week so for the hell of it I tried adding the helmet to my cart and it is OUT OF STOCK!.
I requested to cancel my order. I gave up nd bought a mushroom lid locally...
Next day, again, I requested to cancel my order.
Finally, I got a form letter saying it is not possible to cancel an order that has shipped.
In yet another email explained that it was still in "PENDING", not shipped.
Two days later, it SHIPPED. Then, simultaneously, they sent an email saying that they cancelled the order and refunded my money....
BUT THEY KEPT MY $30 FREAKING DOLLARS FOR EXPEDITED SHIPPING!!!!! EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER SHIPPED IT!
And I have all the emails to prove it..... BULLCRAP!
I also have had a bad experience with this Company. They simply wont respond to my emails and I find the long wait on the contact number unacceptable. Ended up cancelling the order and went elsewhere. Would not recommend them based on my experience.
The few times that I've purchased from Leatherup was without any issues. As a matter of fact I recently wanted to order one of the Outlaw helmets but they didn't have my size in stock. They ask me if I wanted to be notified when it was in stock.

Last year I purchased a pink and black leather jacket for my wife. When it arrived it had an area where black leather dye had transferred to the pink leather. I call and spoke to someone (no problem getting through), and he went into the warehouse and searched through all the jackets in her size and found one without the staining. As it turns out nearly all of them had it from being poorly packed.
He shipped my replacement immediately, along with a prepaid return tag for the RMA. They also gave me a 25% discount for my troubles.
A+++++ in my book.
I have ordered a bunch of stuff from LeatherUp...helmets, jackets, overpants, gloves, boots, and more. I have been more than pleased with their products, pricing, and service. Had to exchange a pair of boots once, and that went off without a hitch as well. I can sure understand if you never ordered from them again, but unfortunately, you had what I believe is a rare bad experience with them based upon everything I have read and on my own experiences.
Never had any problems with them and I have ordered four different times.

+1 on reading the reviews, my jacket I ordered from them was the same way, reviews said runs a size small, so I ordered the next size, perfect fit.
