Looking for Leather Chaps, Jacket

I bought my jacket qnde chaps at Mills Fleet Farm. Don't know if they are in Ill. or not. The brand name is Interstate. Heavy duty quality and ar good price especially when on sale. They have a pretty good selection of goods (some bags gloves vests etc...).

I bought my Milwaukee Leather chaps at Farm and fleet, I think they have them in IL. Not sure how they compare to other brands since they are the only chaps I've owned but they seem decent. Just plain black leather chaps, paid about $100.
I have only had 2 leather jackets in my life, a Schott/Perfecto and Vansons. I bought the Vanson jacket and chaps 10 years ago when my Pervecto was stolen, been thousands of miles, all kinds of weather, and still looks like brand new. I don't see how people can pay north of $200 for a cheap *** chineese jacket because it say Harley on it, absolutely baffels me?

You can get a Harley Leather Jacket that doesn't say Harley on it for about $100 on ebay. I have one and my brother bought one too. California Leather Creations makes good stuff too. I got one on ebay for $70 and it is very good quality and quite thick and warm. I don't think that the standard Harley boots say Harley on them either.

OMG!!!! Your from Illinois and your asking about quality chaps? Your an hour from Kelly's Leathers in Richmond Illinois for goodness sakes. Don't even consider prefab junk, go to Kelly's and get fitted for custom made high quality chaps. They are the specialists. Believe me, on the way to Kelly's stop in at any dealer you can think of and look at what they sell, then head to Kelly's. You'll laugh all the way home once you walk out of Kelly's and see what high end chaps actually are. They bear no resemblance to ANYTHING that the MOCO, Jafrum, leatherup or any other mass producer sells. Fox Creek makes some pretty amazing chaps as well, but from where you live Kelly's is about 800 miles closer. At the very least, stop in and see what they sell, because they have all kinds of Jackets as well. Would of caution, their chaps are not cheap. Expect to pay $275 and up, but 50 years from now your grandkids will be wearing them.
