This isn't my bike, but a Panhead that I'm stalking. It's just sitting in storage waiting for the owner to agree to sell it to me. I love the colors. I'd consider painting my FXD with the same scheme.
I've heard green Harleys are bad luck too, but I had a friend that rode a green/white Springer for years with no bad luck. Actually maybe that's not true. He got married and she made him sell it..

i'm painting my tins green this winter, i've grown to hate the 15th fatboy anniversary sticker on the tank with like half an inch of clear over it, looks like ****...
always owned black bikes but i figure if i'm going to paint them i'll go with my favorite color and that's green.

That anni Fatboy emblem has long been one of my favorite ones.
I always figured if I ever got a fatboy, I'd paint it something like I would imagine a WWII-era fighter, with the open mouth on the tank. Or maybe a bomber style, with a pinup girl on the tank.
I like green
08' Jaguar pearl racing green. My pics don't show the metal flake well.
just put back together after paint....not bad for my 1st paint job.....

i literally just talked about this today with my buddy, he owns a body shop and will paint it for just material costs, then the guy who did some of my tattoos will do the pinup and my buddy will clear coat it.
you really like that anni emblem? looks cheap to me, and the thick clear around the sticker just drives me nuts, i worked at a body shop for years so that stuff sticks out to me.
