Default Painter in North Texas

I used to have the name and phone number of a guy who painted bikes. He lives in the Caddo Mills area. I think his shop is at his house. Any chance anyone has his name and phone number?

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about Tex McDorman? His company is called "Tex EFX". Awesome painter and just as great a guy...good ol' boy. Shop is at his house in Sanger (up towards Denton off I-35.

He seems to specialize in pinstriping & flames, but does all sorts of amazing things. He's an artist. I got his name from Dan at Klockwerks in Sturgis a couple years ago and he painted my fairing and helmet. It was a fairly small, simple, straight-forward job and he treated me and the job like it was as important as any other.

Here's his info. May not be the same guy you're thinking of since Caddo Mills is off I-30, but I highly recommend him. You can tell him Mary gave him your info, I have a turqoise/off-white Road King.

Thanks Mary. That's not the one I was looking for. Caddo Mills is just a few miles east of where I live and would be really convenient. However, if I can't locate him, I will definately contact this guy.

Thanks again.

Another recommendation is Gearbox Custom Paint in Azle. He did some custom work for me and I have seen a lot of his work.

The painter in Caddo Mills is about 15 miles from my house and Tex is close to 80. I finally was able to contact the Caddo Mills painter, via email, and he seemed very flakey. Tex emailed and called.

We took my wife's bike to Tex 2 weeks ago and picked it up finished today. He color-match painted the saddlebags, repaired a bad scratch on the front fender and did some pinstripping.

If anyone has a need for a painter, I highly recommend Tex.
