yeah i like the skull collection stuff,[being a metal-head and all] was gonna go that way, but i knew people would just eat them up and i really wanted my bike to be different...glad i went another route...and yes i know half the bobbers on the forums look very similar to mine,
not exactly happy about that, but what can ya do? it's a great model with a great look out of the box, and of course, if you like that look[stripped down] then one is most likely gonna do things to enhance it. [ie: strip emblems, reflectors, black things out etc.]
when all is said and done...your bike should be a reflection of YOU and if others share that reflection so be it....if not , thats cool too!
i dont think any of us [riders] wanna pull into any given parking lot and see 6547654786 carbon copies of OUR bike...
just my opinion...and ya know what they say about those!
The skull thing is not a fad, whoever said that must me a youngster skulls have been part of harley forever, just different types, as are flames just different types, i have alot of skulls but none are harley i try and be as original as possible and a little different than just going with what anyone can buy at store, but to say they are a fad is like saying black will eventually fad out
I like the skulls, but I also think you can over do it. I'm about to order a bike. I'm thinking a black or yellow pearl 1200C will look great with some skulls bolted on.
Skulls thing is a fad. Stick with the basic classy looking stuff (IMHO)
Wow, that's kinda harsh no?
I have every piece of skull gear on my SG and I love the stuff. It has excellent contrast with the black inlays and the skull is nicely done and rated PG. And to be honest many of us think the skull gear IS classy, thats why it's on our rides.
It's cool that everyone has an idea of what they think looks good, but telling those of us that enjoy the skull gear that it isn't classy is kinda disrespectful don't ya think?
I mean I could offer my personal thoughts about that tank badge and those 80 spokes, but I know if they are on your bike they make your scooter personal to you and obviously you think they are the shizit.
Now leave my damn skulls alone you big bully....[sm=happybounce.gif]

Man, I think the tank badges and the spokes make D175's bike look bitchin. That is one FINE scooter IMO.

I didn't say they aren't bitchin', I was making a point about slamming someones theme.
And yes that bike is gorgeous as are most everyone on here.
Why do you want to go and slam what others like. It's an individual thing.[sm=nono.gif] I don't personally like your theme but I'm not gonna say it sucks. Lighten up.
