Default Close calls on trip

On my recent trip around Arizona I had two close calls that could have been very bad.

The first was when I was near Hannegan Meadows on the Coronado Trail. A deer feeding just off the tree line started to head back into the trees and then abruptly turned around and ran right in front of my bike, I LOVE ABS.

The second was on 89A leaving Sedona when some idiot decided to slam on his brakes in front of me and pull to the right where there is no where for him to park or get around him. He was on his cell phone when he did it. Did I mention that I LOVE ABS #2.

And for those who must post an opinion....yes I saw the deer heading into the forest and started to let off the throttle and no, I wasn't following too close. A car was coming the opposite way and I had no where to go.

Whew!!!!!
