Well That may be true but I have had good results here in MD the 2 times I had to use them. One of them was BestBuy and as soon as I filed I got answers before I was getting nothing but the run around. Not only did I get a full refund I also got the product they were suppose to ship in the 1st place.
On the top right side of the crank case near the front cylinder is a Allen bolt that was removed during the oil change. It worked its way out after they changed the fluid and proceeded to spray oil all over the place. To add insult to injury it was raining heavy at the time meaning water likely made Its way in.
And there number is on the web site cycle solutions online .com. I would love to post Chris's number (the president who was the Guy who used profanitys and hung up on phone on me) but I don't want to stoop to his level. I'm dealing with this above board and he will be hearing from me again... credit card company called and state investigator looking into in.
That plug on the top rt. side of the crankcase is used to insert a tool to lock the crankshaft while verifying cam timing...I'm not saying they didn't do it...But I can't believe any one would remove that plug to vent the crankcase when just removing the dip stick would do the same thing if not better...Beats the hell out of me...

BBB worked great for me too when I had a run in with DirecTV. After digging around on the net and seeing how they screwed thousands of people I decided to contact BBB. Within 3days I had a reply and problem was solved. Everyone told me it wasn't worth my time trying but it ended up saving me over $300.
you had AAA for the towing and I am assuming your bike is fine so all you really are out is time. You and your bros got some oil on ya too. I would chalk it up as an experience and move on. You could sit around and stew on it and let it **** ya off and stuff but its not worth it. Letting folks know about it and that they wont take there bussiness there is a good move. I feel your pain and am not trying to be a kook just trying to get you to see that its not that big of a deal. no one got hurt which is good.
I'd be pished off as well. Sounds like one of their stooges pulled the plug as a vent to get a faster drain and forgot to retighten it.
Same ch1t as the car quick lube shops that forget to do up the drain plug or properly tighten the spin on filter....
Did you see them back the plug out or re-insert it? Very important matter for any one to one claim where he says, she says, they say.....
Good Luck and glad that no one went down slipping on your oil trail.

Forgot to say I wouldn't worry about any rainwater entering the plug hole as it would probably be blowing out rather than sucking in. In any case a good run at proper operating temps for 20-30 minutes should vaporise any moisture....

yea, those are the guys. And it's a plug on the upper right side of the case. Its a breather plug that is removed to help drain oil during changes. The last time it was changed was when the bike was picked up from the dealership 2500 miles ago. I do not usually go out of my way to post something like this but I was 100% floored when the president of the company told me to eff off and hung up. I was not being rude or pushy, just asking him to remedy the situation. That is no way to deal with a customer.
I have to say I'm pretty surprised to hear this. I know a few people that have had extensive work done by them...their home office is only about 30 miles or so from me, and I know of some pretty spectacular builds that came out of their shop. I'm not defending them, as it sounds pretty clear that they screwed up, I'm just ....well...shocked, actually. On the other hand, I always have been leary of the travelling road shows, as I know they are always trying to hustle bikes in and out as fast as possible.

Plus one on the event vendors hustling for bucks. If it's too good to be true......
But I have ambitions of being a vendor someday as well. Only selling goods personally made by me or the better half!
99% of the reason I here is because of how the president of the company dealt with me. And belive it or not I was pretty calm and cool at the time when I talked with him. The guy flew off the handle, started to use profanities and hung up on me. Unfortunately for him some of the people I was riding with at the time are pretty influential guys and have already started to look into things... Regardless, if I heard of a story like this before hand I would have never gone near their tent at a bike event much less even order a part from them. Mistakes happen, but you cant do that to customers and expect them to stay customers.
