Another Group ride rant..
I had my first group ride to bitch about other than the usual slinky crap , We just started the ride and this jack-hole does a burn out right infront of me and my buddy. He then starts digging in his pocket and pulls out yes you got it his F%CKIN cell phone and begins to text and slowdown and swerve around. Two different people told him he was moron and needed to ride right or get in the back. I hoped he would drop the phone so I could run it over but he finally got his **** together and rode ok but he had much cushion around him except for the dude infront of him. I am glad he didnt cause anymore than disent toward himeself. Some people just dont understand or care how they affect others. This is the first dangerous person I have riden around after many group rides I hope hes the last.

I have only been on a couple rides with groups over about 5. I have never seen anyone use a phone on a ride. I can not imagine that going over well with anybody I ride with.

I prefer to keep unsafe riders in the front where I can see them better. I don't want a texting twit to run into me from behind. When forced to ride in a LARGE pack you can find me in the same spot. At the BACK of the pack. And I give the pack lots of room I may arrive last, but I know I'll arrive safe.

Had I been on a group ride with people I don't know, which is HIGHLY unlikely, I would have just peeled off at this point and gone my own way......
