Default Is This Normal?

Just got a 2011 Sportster. First bike, and want to make sure there isn't something wrong with the front end. When I accelerate I feel some vibration. Should you feel that. Once I reach my speed it goes away.

I would take it in and let the dealer look at it.

Yes and no. Some vibration is normal, other vibration is not. Hard to diagnose over the net, and hard for you to know unless you have ridden other bikes.

What RPM's are you at when you feel this?

How many miles? If it's new and you haven't had the 1000 mile service you should just ride it for awhile and try to pinpoint when the vibration happens (speed, gear, rpm's, etc.). That way when you take it to the dealer you can give them a better idea what to look for.
Having said that, it's probably normal.

take it back and let someone there ride it to see. if there is a problem, that's nothing to mess around with. none of my Sportsters did that

Sounds bad, I'll give you a $1000.00 for it.

Just bought a 2010 nightster over the weekend. Only have a bit of ride time, but balanced between town and highway riding. Haven't noticed any vibration beyond what I would call usual. Having said that, there is a rumble to them, and after 20 years of working in mining, my baby fingers are pins and needles after an hour of ride time. Hoping I find some gloves that help

Go test ride a couple of other bikes just like yours. Not that "normal" actually is common, but the odds are you'll be able to tell if it's supposed to do that.
