http://www.gerbing.com/ > Have you EVER used this gear? I have and it suxs! I ride ALL year with temps down in the teens!!! I know that warmnsafe is the BEST because I have used all the major brands and there is nothing better! PERIOD! Some people will swear by a product that they have NEVER used but before I suggest anyone plunk down a few 100$ for gear I'll dam shore know what I am talkin about!
Yeah, I know what I am talking about seeing as I own Harley gear which is rebranded Gerbing gear. And you're the first person I have ever come across that would say it "sucks". The stuff is proven on two continents and has thousands upon thousands of satisified customers.
And it is working just fine for me. I am glad yours works well for you. If mine ever fails me, I will be sure to consider your suggestion.

Last week the temp. dropped to -8C (20F). I just layered up and wore a neoprene face mask. my finger tip got cold, but thats all. I travel about 40kms. at speeds up to 110kms/hr.

I rode about 250 miles yesterday. It was in the upper 20's when I left Charlotte early in the morning & about the same latter on in the day on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I have the Gerbing pants, socks & gloves. I've never had Warmsafe, but I definately don't think Gerbins suck. Actually I'm very satisfied with them. I ride a EG so I really don't need too much upper body protection. Yesterday I just wore a thin pair of thermals under the pants. I put on jeans under the electric pants if the temps get in the teens.
Can you be more specific about what features you do not like about the Gerbings?
RE: Thirty degrees out and they thought I was CRAZY!!!!
did a ride friday night when the temps dropped into the low 30's. wasnt too bad but i need to rethink my strategy and buy some better head and hand gear as the cold wind really did a number on my hands and face but the rest of my body was fine just wearing leather.
RE: Thirty degrees out and they thought I was CRAZY!!!!
Question of quality & watts. Your Gerbing only pulls 77 watts vs 100 against the Warmnsafe jacket. You cannot turn the Warmnsafe all the way on and stay in it. It is that warm! Lot of people have major complaints with customer service at Gerbing. Take a gerbing out on a 30 degree day with only a t-shirt under it and you'll freeze. GL with whatever you buy.
