High Gas Prices!!!!

On my recent ride to do the PCH, I paid $4.49 in California and $3.21 in Oklahoma and that was the cheap price for 87 octane. Yes, my 010 Ultra runs great on 87 octane. Up the Rockies at 75 mpg in 6th gear.
Through 115 degree heat in Death Valley and a traffic jam in 105 degree heat in Missouri.
It pulled strong for 6,500 miles of big elevation changes and high temps. It has an oil cooler and 12.1 to one AFR programmer. All that at over 45 mpg for the trip. Highest was 61 mpg (tail wind). Lowest was 40.2 mpg ( 80 mph and strong head wind) Many many fill ups at 50 mpg.

Another reader that apparently didn't see the "60 Minutes" segment showing all the major oil company tankers loading up with all the no-name guys all at the same refinery, all in a row, all at the same time.
When asked about the "difference," in gasoline, the Refinery Manager answered:
"Gas is Gas." and smiled.
