You think gas prices are high??? Think about this. Today I bought premium gas at Costco for $3.56 a gal. Riding down the road I decided to stop at Dunkin Donuts for my daily fix of java. I got a medium, 14 oz for $1.59. Got to thinking, 128 oz in a gal divided by 14 equals a little over 9 cups. $1.59 X 9 = $14.31 a gallon. I'm damn sure glad my bike doesn't run on coffee.
Gas prices are high, fueled by market speculators and oil company shareholders.
We have one the largest oil reserves in the world in North Dakota, yet only one refinery.

We're close to $5.00 a U.S gallon up here. Unfortunately, although the bike doesn't run on coffee, I do! 12-15 cups most days.
How do U keep the DD shops open.
They built and opened 2 new shops last yr here in our town. One closed within 4 months and the other closed this spring..
Wife likes one every now and then, but every times she'd stop to get one at the store that closed in 4 months, they never had any made up. They always told her to wait and they'd make her one. Figured thats why that one went out cause they never had anything made up . But the one up town did a good business and it still when out last month.
Just figured they where write offs...
As far a coffee,, compare Ur $1.59 cup to some of Starbucks $4.oo a cup and see what a gallon of their coffee would be.

This is incorrect. Fuel prices are high due the monopoly of OPEC an the failure of our gov to enact a reasonable energy policy.
When you're paying nearly $8 per Gal for Gas and $4.20 for cup of coffee like I have to then i'll conceed what you pay is too much.....I only wish i could pay your prices, especially for Coffee!!
