Mile High dropped a Forum member's bike off a lift last year. I have also had the bad vibe thing when I've been in Avalanche/Freedom. Sun has an Ebay store and decent sales on parts from time to time. Rocky Mountain is closest to me. The parts guys are great, and while I wander around the showroom I'm asked politely if I need help. I've been toying with the idea I need a Road Glide and a salesperson was happy to help without being pushy. The service dept is not a place i would take my bike to, though.

I have had dealings with them all.Mile high has a bigger selection but a higher turnover on sales reps.Avalanche is the rubber hose crew of the bunch. They dump sales people about monthly as well as get dumped.Of all the sales men in all the places Ron at rocky mountain is more like me and more to my liking.I like Reed at sun but his boss is a real piece of work and pissed backwards on a deal this summer.I caught them charging sales tax on sales tax so they pulled the deal and told me to never come back.Would of been new harley number 4 from them since 1977.I dont waste my time at Pikes Peak high prices and games.Greeley is ok but just ok.Frederick is ok but thats it.I ventured to dorflors (sp?) In hays ks for one buy.Good guys smaller dealership decent shop .Budkes in north platte nebraska is in bed with Reed at sun, lots of dealer transfers between the 2.Ok to mediocre at best.I will put my recommendations on Ron lazos(?) at rocky mountain for new as he is a serious rider and is brutally honest. He does what he can on price within his limitations

Ron Lazar at RMHD is where I bought My 08 SEUC3. I called Mile High in Parker (since this is where I live) and explained to them what bike I was interested in buying. The SEUC3 with the gold leaf, bronze, and black. I liked the combination and since Mile High had just opened the store in Parker I wanted to support them. I said all I want to know is what do you want for the bike. My "out the door" price. No BS. I do NOT want to hear any "we get a premium for those" or any other sales pitch. The sales manager said yes so 15 mins later I am in the showroom talking to the Sales Manager telling him I just talked to him on the phone....The first words out of his mouth was we get a premium and never did tell me the price. I said ADIOS and never bought the bike. I went immediately to RMHD and (already knew Ron) said Ron I want this bike (SEUC3) He went to his desk, opened his sales book for the bikes they are getting and have on floor, went to the page for the Screaming Eagle Ultra and pointed, This is what we pay and this is what I sell it for, MSRP and that was it. I ordered it right there. Took the sales receipt back to Mile High and show the SM what he pissed away. Ron shoots from the hip. I like him but found the service dept to be lacking. Maybe it has improved over the years but like I said before. Wayne is at Sun and there I be. Unless he moves out of the Denver area I will stay with him. When you find a wrench you can trust.... I know Reed personally and have him looking for a CrossBones for me. No hurry. My feelings about Avalanche (Freedom) is they are pressured to sell and to h*** with anything else. They do boast the most bikes so if you want to see some models go there and look. They have a big nut over there to cover. I rate Sun No.1 RMHD No. 2 you pick No. 3...
Just my thoughts.

I havent trusted service at sun since Steve Ruby retired and took up wrenching in his garage and occasionally giving the boys at 2 wheelers some time.I really dont know where I would go now if I needed a dealer to do warranty work
