I think they hit it out of the park with the Switchback.
It will be interesting to see what kind of folks go for it. It's priced close enough to the FLHR that most people who buy the FLD will be *choosing* it over the FLHR (and FLSTH).
If I could only have one bike and I were in the market for a new one now, it'd be hard to pass it up.
Love it. Wife is already talking about taking over the nightster, I might have to take a look in person and see if I can make it fit my very short legs! LOL
I just got back from the dealer looking at one. Its a very nice bike. I didn't like the wheels when looking at the pictures but in person they look very nice. All I will say is you should withhold judgement untill you actually see one. I do believe more will be sold to short people because at 6'1" the stock windshield was about shoulder height on me. I was planning on a test ride but as I walked up to it the SOLD sign was hung up on it.
Is it just me, or is that thing just plain ugly and stupid looking? It just seems to be a real bad idea to me. Trying ot mix a Dyna and a Tourer is like cross breeding cats and dogs.
I agree totaly - nice looking Goldwing in your sig pic......
