Anyone had the opportunity to ride one? I got to believe the performance should be pretty good with the bigger engine. I started with a Dyna and it was a great bike. I do love my RK though. But now the Dynas have ABS too. Lets see, if I tear out some of the garage storage cabinets it might just fit... Also, the kid will be looking at community college for a couple years... Is this the second or third circle of hell? Perhaps both.

Some people said that about the AMC Pacer. Time will tell.

Too bad we can't all have two or three bikes in the stable instead of having to make one bike serve all purposes. I know, I know, some of you lucky buggers do have more than one bike, but I'm just a poor boy, so this kind of bike has some appeal.

Earlier, I posted a few times that I didn't like it much.

I will tell all of you one thing, and mention it only once.

A few of us on this forum, put early flh bags on our DYNA's (you can buy them NEW from V-Twin Mfg.). It is obvious that the MOCO watches this forum, and that is where the idea came from on this bike. As for the front end, they also weaned it from here. A little retorfitting will get a heritage front end on the DYNA frame.

The pics that people have posted on here make it look much better.

That said, the MOCO got the ideas for this bike FROM THIS FORUM. I know, because I put the FLH bags and FLH tourpak on my bike and extinsively catalogued it on here!

So, if people like what the moco is offering, then that's good.

The PRICE, being so close of a Road King, is going to cause problems. When you start adding the cost of any color that isn't black and ABS, it's a wash.

Having been on the FL frame for a few months now, I can tell you, the FL's handle great. Do yourself a favor and ride the road king and this new switchback before you buy....the resale on a road king will always be higher.

Just my .02

Not hating...just keeping things REAL. The gang at HDForums started the FLH bags on the DYNA trend.

True about the 3 1/2 gallon tanks. But the earlier models had smaller motors and the models of the same years were the same size, not smaller.
And gas was cheaper. The laws to carry was not as strict. You could carry gas in a jar if you wanted. I didn't compare the 2012 with a 1998 model. I was referring to the same motor in the same year.

what, did say something that was not true? Did I say the wrong amount of fuel it can hold.
Just because I said something you don't agree, I'm now a Troll? Well, get over it. I posted twice about the amount of fuel the Switchback holds. Grow up.

I like it, Offers parts we can swap on other bikes...
I'm 6'2" so I doubt I'll go the FLD route.
BUT, Its a Harley, and it seems like many are beating it up like HD just bought out honda and launched a new line up.
At the end of the day its a HD and its part of the family...
Be nice, theres a *** for every seat and there are many in line for this one.
