Welcome to the have, and out of the will.I dropped my Ultra shortly after I got it,was rolling it foward to get the tire valve where I could get to it check tire pressure and just as I was leaning it over I heard the kickstand click up.I couldn't for the life of me get it back up and had to call a neighbor to help.

Came close the other day, backing up when my right foot rolled on a small stone. About busted a nut keeping her from going over!

Come close several times but thus far I have managed to keep her from hitting the "point of no return". Maybe I got all of my drops out of my system in my dirt riding days and now am just experiencing wake up calls. Knock on wood cause I don't have crash bars and would not likely be as lucky as OP.

It never fails to amaze me how fast I can lift a 700 Lb bike before anyone sees it on its side.

I spent 6 hours cleaning my bike ( early 90's when it was new), tooth brush and all. Too many beers, pushed it into the garage, forgot the kick stand. Didn't let it hit the ground, but was close. No dents, no scratches, **** happens. Welcome to the club, if anybody rags on ya F'em every body makes mistakes.

ok , so you got the "forgot to put the kickstand down" moment out of the way. Unfortunately im here to tell you that there are a few more dumb moments to come . I particularly like the "moving the bike while off it, and it tipping away from you leaving you lying on top of the bike"

I've done the kickstand thing on my GSX-R. Looks like this is a story for this place:

Glad nothing was harmed.
