OK, don't shoot me, but I ride a Honda ST1300 and like it very much, but 99% of the time it's solo. My wife and I are flying to Sacramento in October to visit our daughter, and this gives me the opportunity to rent a HD FINALLY. I've ridden for 35 years and never yet a HD...
so.. 2 questions...
1) I am talking to the folks at Iron Steed, which is about 40 mi from the Sacramento airport (Vacaville I think is the town). this is the only rental place I've found so far anywhere near the Sacramento airport even tho it's not that close... any other ideas?
2) since it is going to be 2 up and we want to see the sights, maybe ride over to Tahoe area.. I am looking at a loaded Electraglide to rent. sound like the way to go?
thanks but the Sacramento Harley dealer no longer rents... I think I'm SOL unless I go to the one in Vacaville. unless anyone else has an idea.. thanks -
Was just in Sacto in June to visit home. Wife and I looked into renting a bike for a old times sake trip to Tahoe. Cant believe how many dealers in the area have closed in the last 4 years. Anyway. Vacaville is the closest dealer who will rent. Unless you want to fly to SF and rent from Perkins, then ride up to Sac
